Kanye Seen Raking Leaves With Menorah

Los Angeles, CA- It was a beautiful day in Southern California last Saturday; a perfect day to get out and get those fall leaves picked up before the first big cold snap of the season hits the greater Los Angeles area. Rapper Kanye West took advantage of the 70 degree temperatures and hit the streets to perform some overdue community service after his latest anti-semetic comments.

“I just felt like I needed to get out and give back to the community,” West explained as he rigorously raked up a pile of leaves, “People been mad at me lately and I felt like this might show people I’m not a bad guy.” West had mentioned last month in multiple interviews his admiration for Hitler and made specific anti-semetic jokes about former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Kanye’s apologetic response was puzzling after we noticed the rake he was using appeared to be a Jewish Menorah.

“Oh, this old thing?” West said as he lifted the “rake” and smiled. “An old friend of mine, Joseph Horowitz, gave this to me as a gift a long time ago. I used to use it to stoke the fire in my fireplace but Kim told me she thought that was insensitive, ya know, with Jews and fire and stuff, so I figured I’d use it as a rake.” 

After our staff pointed out that using a menorah as a rake might not be the best way to get back into good graces with the public, Kanye proceeded to go on a tirade, shouting obscenities in German toward us. However, after we replayed the audio of the interview, it appeared that West was actually just shouting the lyrics of the popular song “Du Hast”, a late 90’s hit by the German band Rammstein.

Feeling threatened, our staff began to flee as Kanye sprinted behind us. An innocent bystander stepped in and tripped up Kanye moments before the LAPD came to arrest him.
