San Francisco, CA- As the homeless crisis continues to get worse in San Francisco, a local vagrant has found a way to beat the system and turn a bad situation into a way to make a little money.
“Yeah, I actually used to be an AirBNB Superhost before I found out what meth was,” the homeless man told our Offended American reporters, “Hosting AirBNB’s was my side job while I worked for Nancy Pelosi’s local office.” Cyril Inman was a local lobbyist and fundraiser for Nancy Pelosi since 1998 and seemed to have his life together until he found meth.
“I was on my way to the top but my job made me miserable,” he sadly explained, “Ms. Pelosi and her husband ran that office like a couple of Nazi’s at Auschwitz.” He detailed instances of verbal and even physical abuse that took its toll on him. “They would dress us up in dog costumes and walk us around the office on leashes,” he said, “It was degrading to say the least, and put me into a personal downward spiral.”
Mr. Inman explained that he would go straight to the bars after work and drink until he forgot what had happened at work each day. “I started to host AirBNB’s to get my mind off of my other job and to find some kind of way to escape the hell of working for the Pelosi’s,” Inman explained. He said that he really started to have a decent amount of passive income until one night when he was leaving a bar.
“I was wasted and a homeless guy offered me some meth, so of course I said yes and I was hooked,” Inman said as he choked up, “I never went back to work again and lost my houses, car, everything. And now I just figured I would try to get back into the hosting business– ya know, try to save myself again.”
Inman said that he has his tent rented out on a regular basis. “A lot of couples like to rent it out and ‘see what it’s like to be homeless,’” he said, “Most of them really enjoy it, I have a 4.5 star rating if that tells you anything.”
