Los Angeles, CA- No more than a few months into their exile from the royal spotlight, Prince Harry and Meghan Markel decided to get back into the spotlight by having Netflix film a special documentary about their lives out of the spotlight.
Feeling the need to refuel their addiction of being in the spotlight, Prince Harry and Meghan Markel decided to jump back into the spotlight to tell the world about why they wanted out of the spotlight. “The spotlight is bright,” Markel explained, “There’s cameras and pressure and it’s just really hard to be loved and liked and not have to work.”
The documentary is a six-part series that explores the span of their relationship from the early days of their courtship to the whiny and spoiled departure from the institution of the royal family, dubbed the Megxit (take time to clean the vomit off your shirt).
“Yeah, I was sick of the rules and stuff, ya know?” the millennial prince explained, “It was like, wake up at this time, wear this suit here, be to this place on time; stuff that normal people just wouldn’t understand.” Visibly tearful, the prince took a break as Markel continued, “Yeah, it’s just been a tough road for Harry, he’s been in the spotlight his entire life; being judged and put up against his much more handsome brother, and I’ve had a pretty spotlight-less life until I met Harry, so I told him let’s just Megxit this royalty thing and just chill for a bit.”
As Harry sat back down, wiping tears from his eyes, he reassured the world that he was still kind of royalty, “I’m still part of the family,” he sulked, “Granny Liz always said I was her favorite–” “No, sweetie, it was always William,” Markel sternly interjected, “You’re MY favorite,” she emphasized through gritted teeth, visibly squeezing her husband's hand. “ Oh, yeah,” Harry grumbled. “We love being out of the spotlight,” Markel insisted, “We do not want any attention on us at all! We may still be royalty but we just want normal lives like everyone else!”
The happy couple have also announced a nation-wide “Out Of The Spotlight” tour to talk about the oppression of being in the royal family. The tour spans 9 months and visits 52 cities. Keep it here with The Offended American for updates on the exiled royals.
